MCX plug/ MCX socket

Plug connector with snap lock

The MCX connector is an RF connector with a snap lock. It is used for frequencies up to 6 GHz and has a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms.

Due to their small size, MCX connectors are used in small measuring and mobile phone devices. It is also being used more and more frequently in DVB-T sticks and navigation devices due to its good properties.
