FAKRA connectors comply with the DIN 72594-2 standard and are mainly used in vehicles and motor vehicles. They are used to connect GSM mobile phones and GPS antennas or to transmit camera data. With up to 13 different mechanical and colour markings, the FAKRA plug and FAKRA socket are protected against confusion.
