LSZH – Low Smoke Zero Halogen
In contrast to PVC cables, LSZH cables and coaxial cables only produce very low levels of toxic fumes. They are therefore particularly suitable for indoor use and are even mandatory in public areas, as burning PVC produces toxic vapours that can pose a risk to human health. LSZH coaxial cables are also used in poorly ventilated areas such as cars, aeroplanes, underground trains and ships. Also known by other manufacturers as: FRNC and LSNH. Standard: IEC60332-1-2
